The origins of Union Distillery date back to 1948, with the production of wines and derivatives in Veranópolis, in Serra Gaúcha. In 1972, the Borsato and Ziero families took control of the company and changed the focus of the business to the production of malt whiskey.

Secular wisdom merges with the climate, the pure water of the mountain slopes, quality malt and time to create authentic Brazilian whiskey.
Today, visiting the Union Distillery is immersing yourself in the universe of the “water of life”. Amid pot stills, oak barrels for aging and countless stories that hover around the environment, the visitor is immersed in one of the most modern distilleries in the world.
