The history of the Lovara winery begins approximately in 1887, when Giuseppe Benedetti and Angelo Tecchio, coming from northern Italy, arrived in Brazil. Neighbors of land in the municipality of Bento Gonçalves started producing grapes for fresh consumption on their properties where they helped each other with the harvest. With the increase in production, they founded Vinícola Lovara together in 1967.
In 2009, the families invested in modernizing their company, renovating its physical structure with modern winemaking equipment and giving the place a more modern and elegant architecture.
Today, Vinícola Lovara, in addition to producing wines and sparkling wines, has an event space with capacity for 150 people, as well as the option of outdoor ceremonies for those who wish to get married in the middle of the vineyards.
In its space it also has enogastronomic programs according to the season such as harmonized fondues in the winter period, the Toast of the Stars in the summer to celebrate through a dinner harmonized with the harvest, among other programs that will delight you.
