The charm of a steam train, the music and the bucolic atmosphere of Serra Gaúcha create the perfect setting for L’Essenza Del Vino. 

In an unprecedented program in Brazil, the traditional Maria Fumaça tour – between the cities of Bento Gonçalves, Garibaldi and Carlos Barbosa – opens up space for a tasting of national wines and sparkling wines. During the tour lasting approximately one hour and thirty minutes, a sommelier leads the tasting of carefully selected labels according to the time of year, providing the visitor with a unique sensory experience for those who want to learn more about the world of wines. 

In addition to the Maria Fumaça tour, this experience includes a visit to the Epopeia Italiana Cultural Park, the stage for a scenic show that, through nine life-size scenarios, tells the story of the Italian immigrant couple Lazaro and Rosa. The visit includes tasting colonial biscuits and white grape juice.

Pay attention to the train departure location and time, so as not to miss boarding the charming Maria Fumaça:
-> Bento Gonçalves to Carlos Barbosa:
2pm - Train departure from Bento Gonçalves station to Carlos Barbosa. The return to Bento Gonçalves is done with the Santo Antônio bus; 
-> Carlos Barbosa to Bento Gonçalves:
2:50 pm – Arrive at Bento Gonçalves station to board the Santo Antônio bus bound for Carlos Barbosa station. The train ride takes place on the way back to Bento Gonçalves, boarding at the Carlos Barbosa train platform at 4pm. 

OBSERVATIONS
• Children aged 0 to 5 years do not pay a ticket, as long as they are carried on your lap (one per adult) 
• Experience not recommended for anyone under 18;
• It is mandatory to present an identification document;
• Pick-up at hotels is not included in the tour;
