Maria Fumaça and Italian Epic Package

At Maria Fumaça - Trem do Vinho, visitors board a steam train that runs along the railway between the cities of Bento Gonçalves, Garibaldi and Carlos Barbosa and watch cultural presentations that liven up the carriages. 

During the journey you will be able to taste wines, sparkling wines and red grape juice. Immersion in Italian culture is told at the Epopeia Italiana Cultural Park, a show with nine life-size scenarios that portray the story of the couple Lázaro and Rosa, Italian immigrants who went through countless difficulties upon arriving in Brazil and, after much effort, managed to prosper in the lands of Rio Grande do Sul. The show includes tasting colonial biscuits and white grape juice. 

IMPORTANT: 

Pay attention to the train departure times so as not to miss boarding the charming Maria Fumaça: 

9 am – train departure from Bento Gonçalves station heading to Carlos Barbosa. The return to Bento Gonçalves is done with the Santo Antônio bus; 

9:50 am - Arrive at Bento Gonçalves station to board the Santo Antônio bus bound for Carlos Barbosa station. The train ride takes place on the way back to Bento Gonçalves, boarding at the Carlos Barbosa train platform at 11am.

2pm - train departure from Bento Gonçalves station to Carlos Barbosa. The return to Bento Gonçalves is done with the Santo Antônio bus;

2:50 pm – Arrive at Bento Gonçalves station to board the Santo Antônio bus bound for Carlos Barbosa station. The train ride takes place on the way back to Bento Gonçalves, boarding at the Carlos Barbosa train platform at 4pm. 

 ATTENTION: The distribution of seats in the carriages is done automatically. If you want to enjoy the tour with friends/family in the same carriage, we recommend that you purchase all tickets in a single reservation;
 
• The duration of the Epopeia Italiana cultural show is approximately 40 minutes. We recommend scheduling at least 1 hour before the train/transport tour leaves, or from 1:30 am after the train boarding/departure time. 
• Children aged 0 to 5 years old, on their lap, are free; 
• Presentation of identification document is mandatory; 
• Pick-up at hotels is not included in the ticket;
• For half-price beneficiaries (Decree nº 8,537/2015 and Laws nº 12,852/13 and 12,933/13), the purchase of the experience must be made directly with our sales center, via (54) 3455-2788.
